Regional Health Network, Inc. currently has a full-time opening available in Custer, South Dakota at Custer Regional Hospital for a Medical Technologist to provide Custer Regional Hospital and all affiliated health care providers with high quality laboratory services. This position will perform a variety of laboratory tests, report results, maintain records, and ensure equipment and quality control. This position requires a Bachelor`s degree or equivalent in Medical Technology. Also, must have two (2) years of related experience and an American Medical Technologists certification. Must have demonstrated ability for all testing including: (1) routine patient test performance; (2) monitoring the recording and reporting of test results; (3) review of intermediate test results or worksheets, quality control records, proficiency testing results, and preventative maintenance records; (4) instrument maintenance and function checks; and (5) analysis of specimens, internal blind testing samples, and external proficiency testing samples.
