Job Summary:

The Director of Regional Heart Doctors works with the cardiologists, surgeons, managers and RCRH management team to establish and guide the strategic vision of the cardiovascular program. Working with the various Medical Directors and management staff the Director is responsible for establishing service and financial objectives and instituting the operational structure necessary to achieve the clinical and financial objectives of the organization.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:
  • Works with other clinic and health system departments to facilitate patient access to services and the quality of service they receive.
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of core business structures, systems, practices, trends, and technologies within our current industry and of those in which we choose to compete in the future.
  • Administers and coordinates the facility strategic and operational planning process which includes the yearly budget and cost reports.
  • Creates an environment in which people feel valued, respected, and energized to explore new methods of doing business, generating revenue, and taking calculated risks. Develops employees based on linkage to business requirements and ensures employees are competent to manage change.
  • Develops and communicates the organization`s financial goals and objectives.
  • Establishes and maintains efficient staffing that meet the workload of the Department.
  • Provides direction, supervision, and support to clinic operations and ensures policies and procedures are implemented for efficient and effective financial and operational performance.
  • Builds collaborative relationships throughout internal and external organizations and within the community.
  • Directs the development, implementation, and monitoring of system and organizational clinical integration initiatives.

    Additional Requirements:

    Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
