Description: Warehouse Manager Rockline Industries, Inc. New Jersey Position Summary: Manages and coordinates the activities of all associates involved in the shipping, receiving, and warehousing of raw materials and finished goods. Ensures the safety, quality, and productivity objectives of the business are being met. Oversees the receipt, storage, retrieval, inventory, and timely dispatch of goods, insuring all workplace health and safety requirements are met. Ensure all customer requirements, on-time service levels, and order fill rates are being maintained. Responsible for the JD Edwards computerized administration of the warehouse. Essential Functions: Review shipping notices, bills of lading, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and distribution methods in order to meet all shipping and receiving schedules. Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results. Helps recruit, select, orient, and train employees. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. Monitors the flow of paperwork from receiving to inventory and its accurate, timely data entry and measures the overall departments performance. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and cycle counts, reconciling with the data storage system. Responsible for the daily inspection of the departments material handling equipment. Ensure the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies. Responsible for our cycle counting process. If necessary should be able to investigate and determine cause of variances. Experience with 3rd party audits. Formulate responses to any findings from the audit and issue corrective actions when needed. Able to perform successful mock recalls for auditors. Other duties as assigned. Education, Experience, and Skills Required: College degree and a minimum of five years supervisory experience in warehousing, shipping and receiving, inventory control or materials management in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of cGMPs, JD Edwards, OSHA regulations. Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a diverse environment. Minimal travel to Corporate.
