Applications Engineer
Job Location: Houston, TX
Job Summary:
Position will be responsible to provide a full range of advice on product applications to meet specified service and customer expectations for valves. Will be required to learn the product, capabilities and relevant engineering codes and standards sufficiently to properly size and select product. Review detailed technical specifications to determine customer requirements and possible technical exceptions. Be reasonably proficient reading and deciphering commercial terms. Will price valves selected and put together technically and commercially compliant quotations by customer due dates.
Skills Required:
MUST HAVE Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
MUST HAVE ability to understand product service environment, identify product solutions and communicate conclusions in a concise and accurate manner. Requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
MUST HAVE two or more years in an applications role within same industry.
Compensation/Benefits:
Base salary $60 to $80K base plus bonus. Full benefits.
