POSITION: Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction (9-12)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Master`s Degree: Arkansas Teaching License, Administrative license preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates district efforts in analyzing, developing and aligning curriculum, instruction and assessment; In cooperation with Asst. Supt. for Teaching and Learning and principals, plan and conduct professional development activities; Assist in the selection of instructional materials; Assists in planning and development of new programs; Studies recent curriculum trends and disseminates information; Assists Asst. Supt. and principals in coordinating the role and responsibilities of academic coaches and department chairs. Assist and coordinate district grant opportunities.
5 years teaching experience at the secondary level, administrative experience preferred.
