Description:
Network Engineer Description
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows/Intel systems.
• Detailed understanding of each level of the ISO/OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Advanced experience with LAN & WAN protocols including Ethernet, Frame-Relay, and ATM.
• Advanced experience with IP Routing and routing protocols including OSPF, BGP.
• Advanced experience with Cisco Systems equipment.
• Some experience with Network Management and tools including SNMP, Sniffer, network management tools and applications
Requirements
• Technical experience - 3 years of Microsoft infrastructure & network engineering experience.
• Experience with Exchange messaging and Windows 2000 & 2003 Active Directory migration and implementation is expected.
• Previous experience with vitalization is a plus.
• MCSE, MCP, or CCNA are preferred
• Optional Certifications considered a plus: Citrix, CISSP, VM Ware (VCP or VI 3)
