SUMMARY
One of our top clients is seeking a mid-level VB.NET Developer. Company commenced operations in 1989. Their principal products and services are custom designed and fabricated burners, flares, gas/liquid incinerators and vapor combustion units. Company also provides engineering and consulting services for environmental and combustion applications. The corporate office is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The company's manufacturing and industrial scale research and testing facilities are located on 300 acres located 30 miles south of Tulsa. The company is represented locally throughout North America, the Far East, the Middle East, Eastern and Western Europe, and South America. They have combustion equipment and systems worth hundreds of millions working successfully worldwide. Many of these systems have been custom designed with the customer to meet stringent emission regulations throughout the world.
Requirements
Engineering firm in need of a good VB.NET Developer. Someone who has more knowledge of the engineering type environment and who is able to work independently, that is someone who can take what information they are given and "run with it" is highly desired.
• Strongly motivated, self-starter, self-guided when required.
• Takes personal pride in producing quality software in a timely manner.
• Strong mathematical background.
• Experience in Visual Basic 2003-2008 .NET (strong 6.0 skills acceptable but 6.0 is not used).
• MSCD certification preferred but not required (specifically WAD exam 70-306, Course 2365).
• Experience with programming engineering/mathematical software.
• Can produce professional looking, crash-free software.
• Portfolio of completed, functioning software required.
• Salary commensurate with experience.
