Job Location: Tulsa, OK
Description:
Responsible for all manufacturing processes in Paint. Monitor, control and lead manufacturing in the Paint Department to ensure all goals and objectives are met or exceeded.
Essential Functions:
• Must have basic knowledge of automotive paint process.
• Lead manufacturing, quality, and process improvements, as well as ensure process capability. Provide leadership and guide teams to solutions. Hands–on creativity and self-initiative is required. Develop capitol equipment justifications and appropriation requests
• Provide leadership for all Paint manufacturing processes. Manage total HPUs for this area.
• Work with Materials on establishing a Lean Manufacturing operating philosophy for material on the floor.
• Factory supplies will be controlled and signed off by the Business Team Leader. Establish next year’s budget.
• Document (working with Quality) and analyze defects to repair or prevent defects.
Requirements:
• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3+ years of experience and knowledge of electrostatic liquid spray and powder painting, automotive experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills with complex automated systems.
• Knowledge of urethane paints.
• Experience with FANUC robots, automatic reciprocators, and Allen Bradley PLCs. Automotive manufacturing experience is desired. Blackbelt training is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and follow up skills.
• Ability to successfully lead hourly as well as salaried employees in a team environment.
