Description:
The successful candidate will be involved as a "working" IT Director to align Information Technology strategy with the Company's business strategy by performing the following activities:
• Testing and deployment of critical and security software updates to all workstations and servers as well as current software versions and service packs.
• Identify negative operating conditions by using logs, performance histories, visual inspections and user feedback
• Ensure operation efficiency of equipment during "off hours" for the peak season
• Monitor critical functionality and hardware performance to identify any negative operating devices or programs
• Coordinate offline backups and tape rotations for data recovery and/or environmental disaster scenarios
• Ensure network connectivity between all divisions in areas of email, internet and LANs
• Review new software and services for potential company use and/or benefit
• Determine the need for the purchase of hardware and/or software
• Determine budget requirements for new technology on a yearly basis
• Lead and instruct co-workers on problem resolution, system compatibility and functionality
