Job Location: Tulsa, OK
Description:
• ODM (Hardware, Software, Mapping) supplier qualification and contract definition
• Technical specification of required use cases for new product or platform
• Development of contract for new product for platform cased on desired use-cases
• Development of project plans, including timelines, deliverables, responsibilities, etc.
• Status tracking, reviews and initiation of preventative and corrective action
• Communication of progress, milestone completion, etc.
• Management of assigned engineering team that works with ODMs on developing and ramping up products or platforms including task assignment, etc.
• Management and coordination of ODMs including definition of scope, status reviews, enforcement of milestones and initiation of corrective measures
• Perform regular supplier audits together with Engineering and Quality Assurance/Quality Control functions.
Required Skills:
• Assertiveness and ability to juggle multiple and changing priorities
• Understanding of Asian corporate culture (Chinese language skills a plus)
• Structured and methodical approach to all aspects of work
• Integrator who is able to bridge between conflicting stand-points within company and across partners
Required Experience:
• Five+ years in project management in the consumer electronics space with high risks.
• Three+ years working with suppliers of hardware and/or software, ideally from Taiwan, China, or other parts of Asia.
Required Education:
• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar
• Certification in Project or Product Management
• MBA or Master’s in Engineering a plus
Salary:
$65K - $90K
