Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer / EN032808TI-BAP
Job Location: Tulsa, OK
Job Summary:
Sr. Mechanical Systems Engineer requires a strong, motivated and detailed individual who can independently make decisions on mechanical systems engineering problems and methods. Must also be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers and the FAA to plan work and resolve technical issues.
Requirements:
1. B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (preferred) and at least 5 years of design aerospace experience.
2. Strong aerospace knowledge in the design and certification of:
• Air Conditioning Systems
• Pneumatic Systems
• Fire Protection Systems
• Oxygen Systems
• Potable Water Systems
• Gray Water Systems
• Vacuum Waste Systems
• Fuel Systems (a plus but not required)
• Hydraulic Systems (a plus but not required)
3. Experience with FHA, FMEA, and FTA preferred.
4. Strong command of classical thermal-fluid analysis techniques preferred.
5. Knowledge of industry practices and regulations including CARs, JARs, FARs, Advisory Circulars and Orders. The ability to qualify for the position of DER or DAS AR preferred.
6. Interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals, departments and organizations, both internal and external.
7. Past working knowledge of ACAD and Solid Works.
Compensation/Benefits:
