Description:
Civil/Structural Engineer – Structures Description Perform structural analysis of existing telecommunications structures and foundations (primarily self-supporting, guyed and monopole towers). Prepare formal reports to effectively communicate structure configuration and capacity to customers. Design tower modifications for towers in over-stressed condition as required. Interface with customers to answer questions and resolve issues relating to tower analysis and modifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform structural analysis of structures and foundations
• Prepare formal reports to communicate structure configuration and capacity to customers
• Interface with customers to resolve issues related to structural analysis
• Utilize internal project management tools (database, tracking, etc.)
• Assist in the development of engineering tools and processes
• Design and prepare modifications for towers in over-stressed condition
• Work with drafters to prepare engineering drawings
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering
• 3 plus years of engineering experience
• AUTOCAD knowledge
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Must be self-motivated to perform
