Job Location: Tulsa, OK
Description:
This position provides design expertise to the product development team in electrical technologies and applies them to the design of new products and enhancements of existing products.
Responsibilities
- Engineering and product specifications relating to electrical hardware
- Design models and simulations
- Product verification and validation test plans
- Prototypes and completed designs used in product test plans
- Project scheduling
- Product documentation
- Product safety and standards
- Supervise the electrical design and development of new products
- Provide support of existing products
- Exercise version control on all development and production electrical documentation
- Prepare engineering product electrical specifications, contribute to the creation of instructional materials and contribute to other published documents
- Develop and implement hardware test plans for new and existing products
- Ensure the safekeeping and confidentiality of all concepts and ideas developed
- Maintain accurate design documentation to establish proprietary patents to protect company interests
- Develop and maintain self-improvement programs to increase contribution
- Maintain awareness of technical innovations and change sin related industries
- Communicate new or innovative concepts to management for evaluation
- Assist and communicate with other departments as required or directed
- May supervise or manage the work of technicians or other engineering personnel
- Convert marketing specifications into engineering product design specifications
- Use analytic skill set for analog and digital circuit design
- Generate design verification documents and test plans
Requirements
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering required
- Advanced engineering or computer science degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with embedded and analog circuit design
- Circuit design modeling
- CAD of electrical schematics and PCB design
- Computer skill set should include statistical analysis
Salary range
$59,000 – $74,500
