Description:
Electrical Engineering Manager will be responsible for controls and electrical design for all Tulsa products.
Responsible for but not limited to:
• Definition, documentation and maintenance of equipment control sequences in coordination with Product Groups.
• Coordination of control sequences and application of Wattmaster Controls.
• Assist in the development of controls literature in coordination with the Marketing Department.
• Development and maintenance of wiring standards and electrical device installation procedures.
• Determination of short circuit withstand ratings and requirements as required.
• Checking and approval of all production electrical drawings produced by Electrical Drafting Group.
• Support of Warranty and Sales Departments regarding all electrical issues.
Education and Experience:
• This position requires a minimum of a BS in Electrical Engineering degree with 5+ years of progressive experience in the area of controls for HVAC systems which includes collaborative team management.
• Applicants should have knowledge and experience working with BACnet and LonWorks communications protocols. Those with Tridium JACE or MCS controls experience will be given preference.
• Applicants should be well versed in electrical codes and standards. Knowledge of UL standards as related to HVAC equipment.
