Description:
A leading Southwestern, Ohio client has partnered with Russ Hadick and Associates, Inc. to help them find qualified candidates for their Design Engineer position. This is a small company with a family atmosphere; this will allow you to be close to the action and make a difference.
Requirements:
A 4 year engineering degree, BSME or BSMET, is required. Qualified candidates must be very strong with any 3D modeling package such as Solidworks, PRO-E, Catia, Solidedge, etc. This position could mentor 2-3 junior engineers, but ideally would be working on their own product while the junior engineers were working on other projects. Knowledge of Machine Design is a Must. These designs are completely "white sheet" and are make heavy use of motors, gears, screws, actuators, with metal work and aluminum steels. They need someone that can get the design right the first time and are used to making a product for low quantities. So you must have experience in being concerned about getting the design done quickly and right the first time.
