Description:
A large, multi-billion dollar Southwestern, Ohio client has partnered with Russ Hadick and Associates, Inc to help them find qualified candidates for their Optical Coating Engineering position.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates must be knowledgeable of optical coating design and/or thin film technology. An applicable associates degree is required (e.g. materials sciences, engineering, or chemical); BS degree is preferred - and 2+ years work experience. Candidates should have good communication and project skills; will interface with customers and suppliers to ensure that designs are manufacturable, effective, and efficient. Desirable to have familiarity with optical filter design and manufacturing, as well as specifying, testing and characterizing IR filters are required. Knowledge of cleanroom practices is a plus. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain security clearance. A Defense/military industry background is considered a plus.
