Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a Southwestern, Ohio Company to find and qualify candidates for their Senior Human Factors Product Designer. This are contract only jobs, lasting for 3-6 months or longer. This person is responsible for designing the user experience for new products and enhancements. This is a customer advocate role within project teams ensuring that products are useful, usable, and desirable via a thorough understanding and practice of the user centered design process. Work with marketing, product strategy, project management, product management, product development and users to design innovative, industry leading products. This person will complete all steps in the product design process from conceptualization, detailed user interface, functional design, through implementation and usability review and provide leadership to other members of the Design team.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years experience working in a commercial software product company. Centered design principles and practices. Must have mastery of interaction design and information architecture disciplines and experience in creating wireframes, visual mockups, graphics, and user workflows. He/she must have knowledge of the software development process. The client needs a Self-starter that is able to work both independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Candidates must have Knowledge of international and accessibility design considerations and must be current on trends and best practices in user experience field. Proficiency in visual design preferred. Preferred experience with the Adobe Creative Suite 3.0 and Visio.
