Description:
Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a SW Ohio company to find candidates for their Software Test Engineer position. The Software Test Engineer will generate test plans and procedures, and execute tests to verify the implementation of customer requirements This position requires frequent use and application of test engineering technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Candidate will provide creative testing solutions to a wide range of software applications and be capable of a complete understanding of a wide range of solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Requirements:
The software test engineer will generate test plans and procedures, and execute tests to verify the implementation of customer requirements. Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols is required and the candidate should have experience with configuring computers with various versions of Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems. Candidates must be strong in programming, use of scripting languages, and in testing frameworks. MUST have existing security clearance Masters degree is desirable. Ability to configure open source software and emulation software such as VMware is preferred. Experience writing programs that talk directly to computer peripherals is a major plus. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, Python is a plus.
