Red Wing Shoe Company is looking for a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner. This position will be based in Red Wing, MN and supports both corporate and field employees across North America, with some support of international employees.

Position Summary:

The Sr. Human Resource Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) is responsible for the execution of HR initiatives across designated business units that support corporate and business unit strategies and objectives. In this role, the Sr. HRBP will help build leadership and management capability, enhance the employee experience, provide HR perspective to business decisions, and influence, develop and integrate targeted people strategies.

Requirements Experience, Knowledge and Abilities:

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Human Resources or other business related field (B.A. /B.S.) from four-year college or university and a minimum of ten years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.

The right candidate will have experience as a strategic partner with business leaders, leveraging business acumen to effectively provide HR perspective to business decisions, and demonstrated Organizational Effectiveness experience including areas such as organizational design, job design, succession planning, leadership development, team effectiveness and coaching. Experience supporting sales organizations is important in this role. Experience supporting international employees is preferred.

Candidates must also have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate, persuade and influence at all levels both inside and outside the organization they support; Demonstrated ability to effectively coach and develop employees, managers and leaders; Proven ability to partner effectively with leadership to develop a culture of customer focus, innovation, collaboration, learning, excellence and openness; Demonstrated knowledge of employment law, policies, practices and the ability to apply to complex organizational issues; Ability to think strategically, effectively analyze situations, and offer thoughtful and innovative solutions to business problems; Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and tasks insuring results are delivered on time and of high quality; Demonstrated ability to leverage people, process and technology to drive improvements
