Were looking for a Key Account Specialist to manage, develop, and maintain business relationships with specific key accounts globally.Serve as primary contact for customers as it relates to order management (order processing, scheduling/purchasing, warehousing, transportation) and liason between customer and buyers, marketing, sales, credit, advertising, and product development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proactively process and monitor customer orders, determine delivery dates, inform customer (internal and external) of delivery status, schedule ship dates, appropriate required paperwork, trouble shoot and expedite orders as necessary. This may include internal systems and external customer interfaces.
Effectively communicate, coordinate and execute on customer special needs (ex: invoicing, packing, transportation, labeling) with respective departments.
Ensure contractual agreements between Customer and Red Wing Shoe Company are adhered to (pricing, minimum quantities, payment).
Research, validate and issue credit on valid charge backs for non-compliance with vendor agreements.
Knowledgeable in all areas of sales and distribution from order entry to shipping through participation in marketing, sales, credit, advertising, and product development processes as related to your accounts (and as determined by your manager and brand manager).
Be the voice of the customer by identifying customer needs and sales opportunities to maximize and grow sales.
Work closely with other Key Account Specialists and provide back up support when needed.
Other Responsiblities as assigned (e.g. new account set-up, attending tradeshows, customer business reviews)

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide the highest level of customer care and project a positive business image to internal and external customers. Project image matching our worlds most respected brands vision. Build positive and loyal relationships with internal and external customers.
Work closely with other Key Account Specialists and provide back up support when needed.
Uphold product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
Obtain necessary information by maintaining knowledge of RWSCs electronic communication software.
Maintain quality service by establishing, following, and enforcing organization quality system standards.
Uphold Red Wing Shoe Companys core values.
Complete other duties as assigned from time to time by your manager.
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, classes or programs.
Conduct self according to RWSC policies/Handbook.

CUSTOMERS
Internal: Marketing, Sales, Production Scheduling, Purchasing, Sourcing, Shipping, Transportation, Finance (Credit and Accounts receivable), Product Development, Shoe Returns, Legal, Business Technology Services, Human Resources
External: Key Customers (Buyers, Accounts Payable, Transportation, Warehousing Staff)


Requirements EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two to five years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Experience in customer service and sales
Talent to thrive in challenging and stressful situations
Ability to handle non-routine responsibilities and constantly changing business conditions
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet, e-mail)
Movex or ERP experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Normal office environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primarily office environment with occasional travel that may include trade shows, sales meetings and customer visits. Frequent deadlines to be met. Frequent meetings/interaction with internal staff and customers.
