Medical Product Sourcing Specialist
Job Location: Corporate Office - Newton, NC
Shift:
Dayshift (8am to 5pm)
Duties/Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for researching, identifying and developing sourcing strategies for new products to compliment the Sarstedt, Inc. product line. Position will also evaluate potential suppliers or acquisition opportunities, generate reports on cost and feasibility, work closely with new product development, sales and marketing.
Qualifications Required:
A Bachelor's degree in buiness or other related field (purchasing, marketing, etc.) is required. Candidates must have a working knowledge of computer appplications (MS Office); possess strong analytical and negotiation skills, and previous project management experience. Minimum of 5 years purchasing experience in a medical and/or scientific stockroom environment is desired.
