Successful Agricultural Equipment Manufacturer in the Wichita, Kansas area has an immediate opening for a Lead Design Engineer. This position is responsible for the Management of the Engineering team and providing engineering expertise and project management in the design and development of new products, and well the documentation and drafting of current projects. This position will work closely with the Production staff and the Sales team to meet the custom needs of the customer.
The successful candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience, a background in the Agriculture Industry, or experience with Farm Equipment. Additional requrements are experience with Solid Edge or similar software, good troubleshooting /analytical skills, excellent communication skills and demonstrated expertise in mechanical engineering design. Hydraulics and/or electrical background are a plus.
