Successful and growing firm providing processing materials for manufactured parts in Wichita, Kansas, has an immediate opening for an experienced Production Manager. Reporting to the President, this position is responsible for directing activities of all production departments, customer service representatives and support personnel.
Essential functions include planning department operations, establishing priorities and scheduling processing activities, leading employees in career progression through effective communication, coaching, training and development, and managing budget and operating reports to measure productivity.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree or equivalent and at least 3 years recent experience in operations management. Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques is important, as well as the ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
