Experience / Qualifications/Responsibilities:
Four years experience designing in solidworks environment
Experience with Solidworks Enterprise PDM and PLM documentation
Analyzes engineering sketches, specifications and related data and drawings to determine design and factors such as size, shape and arrangement of parts. Uses computer aided design/drafting equipment and software to develop designs. Prepares system layout and detailed drawings and schematics. Confers with other engineering personnel and prepares design modifications as required. Makes final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation to various parts to whole structure of project. Designs mechanical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial purposes. May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation and/or repair of electrical/mechanical products. Estimates material usage and additionally creates bill of materials for design products. Follows and contributes to processes designed for consistent engineering.
