Position Description and Requirements:
Develops concepts of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems to meet specifications; takes engineering concepts and develops them into designs; supports testing of designs to see if they meet specifications for designs as required for manufacturing system (detail drawings, weldments, assembly drawings and bill of materials); seeks information on new technologies and competitors' products; and provides analysis of structures and hydraulic systems.
BS/ME preferred or BS/Eng. Technology or equivalent degree or experience.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
Previous hands on experience with concept to final design; Strength in designs for manufacturability; Electrical & hydraulic systems experience a plus; CAD experience a plus, Pro E preferred; and Construction equipment design experience a plus.
