Manufacturing Engineer
Job Location: Ashville, NC
SALARY:
$65,000-$85,000
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS Mechanical Engineering, 2-5 + years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in a METAL PROCESSING industry.Proficiency with Windows environment and PC based office software is required. Knowledge of project tracking software is preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage projects within deadlines and produce results.Understanding of machine design , metal cutting and tool requirements. Experience with the standards and cost estimation process, lean manufacturing concepts and implementation process.
DUTIES:
This position is responsible for working in the Manufacturing Engineering Department to satisfy the demand for manufacturing engineer support for capital projects, cost reduction, special projects and production.Work as liaison between Product Engineering, and other departments, vendors and customers to ensure designs meet manfacturability, cost, and customer specifications while adhering to corporate quality and safety standards. This position reports to the Product line Manager
