Inside Sales/Customer Service
Job Location: Gainesville, GA
Salary:
$35K-$48K
Job Summary:
Customer order processing for production lines, including expediting, follow-up and feedback to customers; production scheduling.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
A. Receives, processes and maintains in the system all customer orders.
B. Works closely with Inventory Planner, Production Supervisor and Material Handling Supervisor in order to develop production schedules to optimize production and to meet customer requirements and maintain desired inventory levels.
C. Schedules and updates in system the production orders for the production, 0-hr returns and repairs, service unit orders, prototypes, etc.
D. Expedites orders through communication with WH and Shipping, processes all necessary documentation including the L/C related processes. Provides feedback to customers regarding order status.
E. Uses SAP system and PC based software for tracking and generating of reports as necessary.
F. Follows TS/ISO procedures for all work related activity where documented procedures apply.
G. Acts as a backup within the department as needed.
H. Performs related tasks and special assignments as required.
Accountabilities:
Reports to Production and Materials Manager. Has no direct report. Works closely with Inventory Planner, Production Supervisor and Material Handling Supervisor.
Job Qualifications:
A. Training/Education Requirements: HS Diploma or GED required. College degree or equivalent experience preferred. APICS Certification desirable. TS16949 and ISO 14001 awareness training.
B. Experience Requirements: Previous experience with Inventory Management and Production Scheduling related jobs required. Prior customer service related experience and experience with export shipments & processes preferred. Skills with SAP system and PC based software required.
