Broad Function:
To lead development of new formulations of pharmaceutical and dietary supplement products from initial feasibility through technology transfer and commercialization. To direct the product development processes within the company by managing the Development Center group, use of external experts and internal communications.

Desired Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences
Product development experience in Pharmaceuticals , 5 Plus years
Experience in Liquid Capsules preferred
Leadership ( Entrepreneur Type)
Strong project management skills
Responsibilities:
Lead development of NEW formulations of NEW products in Soft gelatin capsules under contract to pharmaceutical customers, notably for drugs with one or more of the following properties; poor water solubility, low melting point, inadequate stability & high potency.
Supervisory Responsibilities; Supervise and Manage the Development Center( 4 direct reports= 1 Manager, 3 Scientists).
