Product Engineering and Technology consists of jobs which include engineering aspects of product and processes for concept development, product definition, design analysis, test, deployment, and post delivery support.

Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Position Requirements:
Candidates must possess a minimum of twelve (12) years experience with electrical Liaison engineering as used in large aircraft design, build and functional test. Knowledge of and the ability to represent Engineering in the Material Review Board (MRB) process. Ability to analyze and provide written disposition of production and test discrepancies Skill in applying systems thinking to improve producibility of hardware and to resolve production problems. Skill in the initiation of design and process changes. Apply knowledge of design and production systems to oversee and manage Liaison 62E engineering processes. Knowledge of both production and design processes including repair methods. Ability to communicate effectively, act decisively, and to demonstrate innovation and resourcefulness. Ability to develop detailed knowledge of design and manufacture of machined parts, sheet metal parts, welded assemblies, non metals, advanced composites, new materials and/or large-scale assemblies and systems integration. Knowledge of redesign of products and processes in support of manufacturing and engineering initiatives. Ability to manage projects and to lead and participate in cross-functional teams to accomplish engineering and manufacturing initiatives. Ability to evaluate and provide immediate resolution to deviations from “as designed” on structural components, systems, functional test, wiring and electrical installations. Ability to develop, implement and integrate technical curriculum. Apply knowledge of advanced electrical systems installation and design (e.g., Avionics,Communication, mission critical, general aircraft systems, etc.) to determine electrical systems adequacy and specific regulatory and qualification compliance. Develop new principles, processes, methods, or concepts. Participate in resolving complex problems that require a high level of ingenuity and innovation. Investigate and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. Verify accuracy of results through consultation with other authorities in the field rather than by formal review. Prepare plans for and oversee development of processes, methods, and tools. Translate contract requirements into work requirements, processes, and tasks. Resolve or oversee resolution of programmatic problems. Resolve technical problems that would critically affect performance, cost, or schedule. Manage research and development resources to meet contractual and internal requirements. Review work in progress to ensure that specifications, design, criteria, and performance schedules are maintained. Organize technical aspects of proposal development from bid decision to submittal of proposal to customer. Provide functional and technical guidance to all aspects of engineering project management. Act as project leader in specialized instances. Good communication skills and the ability to effectively work in a team environment are a must. Good PC computing skills required.

Educational Requirements:
BS electrical Engineering degree or related BS degree required, with preference given for graduation from an ABET accredited school. Advanced Engineering degrees are desired.
