Description:
Manufacturing Engineering consists of jobs which provide manufacturing producibility knowledge and information for the engineering and manufacturing processes.
Position Requirements:
Apply knowledge of engineering data, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and machine control languages in order to plan, create and revise machine-control data and associated inspection plans. Ability to create and revise measuring machine programs and/or computer generated solid models, statistical process-control graphic aids, in-process inspection graphic aids, and key characteristics media. Ability to create and/or validate machine-control data, inspection point coordinate data and documentation.
Educational Requirements:
Prefer 5 years coordinate measuring machine programming experience or a combination of coordinate measuring machine programming and operation experience in Catia V4 and V5. Prefer a BS in Math, Business or Computing.
