Job Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin Shift:
Hours per pay period (2 weeks): 72 / Shift: Day/Night Rotation / Weekends: Every 3rd
Duties:
Perform total patient care utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with physicians and other health care providers. Demonstrate professional nursing skills through effective leadership, nursing judgement, informed decision making, problem resolution, and appropriate utilization of resources. Provide care for patients according to the standards of care specific to age and the individual’s needs.
Qualifications:
Current Wisconsin R.N. license. One year experience working with open heart surgical patients. Knowledge of the scope of nursing as designated by the WI Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory agencies. Successful complete of ACLS within three months of accepting position. Maintain current CPR certification. Flexible schedule to rotate shifts as necessary. Ability to work autonomously and deal with a variety of people. Ability to read and follow written/verbal protocol. Demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills.
