Duties:
Responsible for the operation of the heart/lung machine for the mechanical cardiovascular support of the patient undergoing heart surgery. Associated clinical activities for CV surgery team include hemodynamic monitoring, autotransfusion, heart assist devices and intra-aortic balloon pump.
Qualifications:
Wisconsin Perfusion licensure and CCP by American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion or eligible required. Current CPR certification. Three years perfusion experience and ACLS certification preferred. Ability to work autonomously and deal with a variety of people. Ability to read and follow written/verbal protocol. Demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills.
