JOB DESCRIPTION:
Participates in strategic planning and developing and implementing policy that ensures the overall mission of Stillwater Medical Center is achieved. Responsible to the President/CEO to direct the functions of budgeting and internal controls and assure the hospital operates in a financially sound manner. Accountable for administrative direction in the departments of Accounting, Business Office, Health Information Services, Information Systems, Materials Management, Registration, Medical Imaging and Switchboard, and Cimarron Medical Services.
SALARY INFORMATION: 130,000 - 170,000/yr
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
3.1 Master’s Degree in healthcare, business administration, or related field.
3.2 Designation as a CPA or FHFMA desirable.
3.3 5 years experience as a CFO in a smaller
HEALTHCARE institution or as a Controller in a larger institution.
3.4 Strong leadership skills.
3.5 Strong communication skills.
3.6 Strong orientation to team work.
3.7 Able to convey a positive image to the hospital family and community.
3.8 HEALTHCARE FINANCE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
4. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
4.1 Able to speak clearly and distinctly with staff, and various publics.
4.2 Able to work in a latex burdened environment.
4.3 Demonstrates adequate vision for reading current health literature and writing reports.
4.4 Demonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete the necessary work responsibilities.
5. JOB RELATIONSHIPS
5.1 Reports to the President/CEO.
5.2 Works with Board of Trustees, Administration and Medical Staff in determining the hospital’s guiding principles.
5.3 Supervises employees in the departments of Accounting, Business Office, Health Information Services, Information Systems, Materials Management, Registration and Switchboard, Medical Imaging and Cimarron Medical Services.
