Industrial Engineer (AV-3-26-2)
Job Location: Baltimore, MD
Salary Range:
$40,000 -$65,000
Description:
Industrial Engineer plans plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; determines the most efficient sequence of operations; develops routing instructions; develops time standards through time studies or most analysis and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. This position also requires a strong knowledge of tools such as MS Access for the purpose of mining various manufacturing data. The IE will also be performing capacity analysis which requires knowledge of discrete event simulation. Conduct lean initiatives pertaining to cost reduction, inventory control, and production systems. Complete understanding in wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the Industrial Engineering field. General knowledge of ERP systems and CAD tools is required. Works under only general direction and should possess leadership skills.
