Facilities Engineer (AV-3-26-8)

Salary Range:
$40,000 -$65,000
Description:
Replace Senior Level Project Engineer within 4 months with an Architect/Project Engineer having 3-5 years of relevant experience 4 year degree in construction related fields. The responsibilities of this position will include a wide variety of support services including the development of requirements for high technology facilities, master planning for facility requirements to support that business strategic plan both short term and long term, space planning, and general facilities management duties. Lead construction and facility relocation projects from initial analysis through implementation, including office, manufacturing, computer lab, clean rooms and warehouse space. Prepare project schedules and cost estimates. Evaluate project feasibility and proposed process solutions. Develop short and long range facility plans. Implement various Facility Design Requests on short notice. Generate drawings via computer using Autocad. Provide project leadership to include coordination of all required trades to complete projects/relocations in a cost effective and timely manner. Act as a team leader on projects involving telephone/data communications installation, purchasing, A/E firms, outside contractors and moving/relocation contractors.
Strong Construction Project management background required. Position can be filled with a band 2 or band 3 candidate
