Salary Range:
$50,000 -$95,000
Description:
Materials Engineer with MS degree in Materials Science with background knowledge of adhesives, plastics, metals, circuit board materials, materials used in electronics, composites, etc.
Primary responsibilities include addressing materials problems in Production, advising Programs on material selection, developing processes, thermal cycling and humidity testing for environmental applicability, qualification of adhesives, plastics and polymers, performing corrosion reviews, reviewing and approving engineering drawings, as well as some mechanical property testing and material formulation.
