Description:
Electronic Systems EEDS (Engineering Environment Development Support) has an open position for a CAD/CAM Engineer at the BWI site in Linthicum, MD. The position is responsible for developing custom applications and design automation programs to support the Mechanical and Electrical design automation tools and processes at ES sector. Basic qualifications: Must have strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and be proficient in programming in C++ and Java using Windows development environment. Must have good written/verbal communication, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Software Engineer with BSCS, or a Mechanical Engineer with BSME degree with software interest/concentration and >5 years experience in with software development required. No clearance required but Secret level is desired. Preferred qualifications: Working Knowledge of Unigraphics NX mechanical design automation systems, NX/Open and/or KF programming experience, knowledge of database design and web technologies are strongly desired.
