Job Location: Baltimore, MD
Salary Range:
$50,000 -$85,000
Description:
Perform modeling, simulation, design, and test for advanced technology development programs. Programs include new micro-electronics, carbon nano-tubes, and quantum mechanics-based sensor and technology development. Electronic laboratory and research skills, numerical simulation and programming skills (esp C, C++, MATLAB) highly desirable. Some experience with device level design and test preferred.
Must have PhD in physics, with background in quantum mechanics, electrodynamics, and some knowledge of circuit design. Experience with lasers, non-linear optics, microwave engineering, semiconductor devices, signal processing and superconducting technologies desirable. Must be able to obtain a security clearance. Will consider hiring Band 3 or Band 4.
