Principle Mechanical Design Engineer T3/T4 (AV-3-27-13)
Job Location: Baltimore, MD
Salary Range:
$50,000 -$85,000
Description:
Produce structural designs, support the development and establishment of aerospace, ground and naval structural design concepts and requirements relative to ES programs and new business initiatives. Define work scope, work with analysts, participate in design reviews, and coordinate efforts to assure timely completion of program requirements. Requires background in metallic structures, composite experience a plus. Experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD) is required, with experience in Unigraphics a plus. This position may be filled at the Band 3 or Band 4 level.
BS degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required, MS or higher preferred. Minimum of 10 years related experience required. Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance. Unigraphics experience preferred.
