$55,000 -$98,000
Description:
Components Engineering Commodity Specialist. This position is responsible for activities associated with new component analysis, approval, and documentation. As a focal point for part information, the specialist support is provided to design teams, procurement, and manufacturing. New development projects are supported with source control drawings, review of supplier data, and resolution of part and source related problems. This function will participate in Commodity Design Teams for developing processes and policies that drive part selection and standardization.
Bachelors and experience with some area of hardware design, development, or manufacture. Although this position is posted at a Band 3/4 level, experience & qualifications of individual candidate will determine the appropriate band.
