Associate Administrator (AV-3-17-1)

• Must be self-sufficient and able to flexibly perform most duties without direct supervision or assistance. The job requires supporting several projects simultaneously.
• Must be well versed in networking including physical cabling, switching, bridging, DNS, routing, firewalls and proxy servers.
• Will be among the first to learn new tools and to help users learn new tools. Must be able to determine requirements for the server end of new tools and to integrate them into the existing infrastructure.
• Will be responsible for maintaining the ISSP and ensuring adherence to it throughout the SCIFs.
• This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills (writing, speaking, telephone, influencing etc.), an outgoing, assertive personality, excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.

• Must have thorough knowledge/mastery of standard office software - MS Office suite, Outlook, document scanning, etc.
• Must possess a working knowledge of these operating systems:
• Microsoft Windows 2000 Server and Professional
• Microsoft Windows NT-4 Server and Desktop
• Sun Solaris Server and Desktop
• TS/SI Security Clearance Required.

• Familiar with DCID-6/3 and NISPOM. Must be able to perform all work to the standards specified in these documents.
