Associate Member Engineering Staff (AV-3-17-3)

Salary range:
$65,000 to $100,000

Responsibilities:
Conducts or participates in the research, design, development, testing and utilization of electrical/electronic hardware and/or components, mechanisms, materials and circuitry. Prepares technical and progress reports on assigned projects. Prepares specifications, design descriptions, material evaluations and test reports.
Under close supervision, assists in performing basic assignments ranging from research, analysis, design, test or product support in an engineering/technical discipline. Applies basic engineering/technical principles, theories and concepts usually following standard techniques, processes, practices or specific methods. Analyzes pre and post-test design data to evaluate and prepare solutions of basic analytical problems for review and approval. Involves limited application of engineering principles, theories, practices and concepts. Develops solutions to problems of limited scope. Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor and other professionals in the section or group.
Requirements;
1. BSEE. 0-2 years experience.
2. Ability to gain Secret security clearance.
Normally considered an entry-level engineer.
