Requirements:
BS Engineering and experience driving new products from R&D through manufacturing. Experience in engineering and project analysis and management in a manufacturing environment required. Including the lean manufacturing and automated mechanical assembly.
Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-based, continuous improvement environment. Must possess strong leadership and communication skills and be able to influence people when planning and facilitating continuous improvement projects. Communication, confrontation and negotiation skills are critical. Strong analytical skill is a must. Client produces instrumentation used in wide variety of industries - pharmaceutical, process, aviation, aerospace ....anything needing to be calibrated, measured, regulated, and timed. Experience in any electromechanical environment will work.
Job Duties:
Work in a hands-on environment with a variety of manufacturing technologies/techniques including lean manufacturing; automated mechanical assembly and state of the art production lines. Beyond manufacturing responsibilities, be part of a cross functional product development team. Take a product from its original design concept through manufacturing to its ultimate launch into the marketplace. Must have been involved in the process from beginning to end - focusing on the manufacturing aspects of new product development, including Design for Manufacturing, Process conception and implementation, Facilitation of production, establishing and meeting quality and manufacturing cost goals and continuous improvement activities.
