Mechanical Engineer-BSME

Description:
This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer with no more than 3 years experience. A BSME degree is required, from a tier 1 engineering school such as N.C. State, Purdue, GA Tech, VA Tech, or Clemson with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Candidates currently in N.C. or surrounding states with minimal relocation requirements. Course work, and/or experience with thermal analysis, and stress analysis. The Mechanical Engineer will be groomed to the next level. Will work as a leader in thermal fire detection design, system and production support, and customer interface.
Design fire detection system installations for new aircraft and system upgrades, consisting of mechanical, stress, thermal and dynamic analysis, design review package creation and presentation. Review customer installations providing recommendations as needed. Support OEM customers & operators on existing systems, providing world-class customer support. Lead investigations to resolve issues on existing systems. Support production on building existing and new design hardware. Lead improvement efforts on products as needed. Lead DFMEA and IPT efforts and multi-task above duties as needed.
