Engineering Manager MEMS
Job Location: Schaumburg, IL
Salary:
$115,000 - $140,000
Description:
Responsible for leading a team of MEMS engineers to continuously improve the quality, performance, and cost of the SiSonic silicon microphone. Develop concepts and follow through to prototypes for next generation microphone, speaker, and non-acoustic MEMS product. Expect to be a hands-on manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Interface with our Asian factory and provide support for new products and manufacturing/ quality issues.
Interface with our MEMS fabrication partners and provide them with support for new products and manufacturing/ quality issues.
Manage the MEMS CAD and simulation/analysis activity for new models.
Participate in the conception, design, and prototyping of new MEMS products
Work with other members of the engineering team to ensure compatibility with the CMOS, package, and testing operations.
Requirements:
Advanced degree in science or engineering required.
Minimum of 10 years MEMS experience.
A wide range of MEMS experience is desirable including surface & bulk micromachining.
Electrostatic sensor and/or actuator experience is preferred.
Lab experience is essential.
Comfortable with CAD & FEA analysis.
Able to conceive and present new ideas effectively.
