Job description:
Experienced engineer to work as a member of the Sustainment Engineering branch responsible for providing engineering support for ground testing and evaluating radar systems. Applicants must be well versed in radar theory, microwave devices, and RF testing methodology. Applicants must be able to perform circuit analysis, write technical papers describing system hardware, major functions, theory of operation, internal system data flow, as well as interface control documentations; must be able to methodically troubleshoot and repair system faults down to the component level; must be able to interact in a team environment with a diverse technical work force, and are also required to interface with customer representatives and internal/external organizations.
Requirements:
RF TESTING, GPS, US CITIZENSHIP
- BSEE or engineering physics from an ABET-accredited college or university. Applicants must be able to apply sound engineering principles to solve complex problems. Must have experience characterizing and testing RF devices and documenting the results. Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SSBI security clearance and be granted special access to government facilities and programs.
