Salary range:
$90,000 - $110000
Duties Experience Comments
BS Engineering with 3+years of maintenance or capital project management experience.
There are 62 total employees at this facility. This position will have three direct reports, and 6 indirect reports, plus be responsible for any contractors onsite that perform maintenance or capital projects. The 6 hourly indirect reports will report to two supervisors, one mechanical to be named, and one I&E that is interim, but will become permanent.
The incumbent will be responsible for the maintenance of plant equipment in a safe and environmentally sound manner, daily work assignments for mechanics, follow up on job completion, and documentation of work completed in the computer system. Coordination of plant capital program and provide assistance to other company sites on capital projects
Job Responsibilities:
Directly supervises and manages all maintenance activities to assure safe, continuous and reliable plant operations.
Responsible and accountable for assuring that all equipment is maintained and operating safely.
Insures maintenance and capital jobs are completed with minimal plant disruption and in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
Responsible for the continuing training of mechanics to improve maintenance techniques and materials used.
Maintain clear lines of communication with peers and subordinates
Insure compliance with PSM/RMP requirements and documentation.
Responsible for maintaining departments in compliance with ISO requirements.
Develop plant capital budgets and manage, track and coordinate activities and costs with company requirements.
Participate in all planning and budgeting activities, or reporting, as may be required or requested by management.
Prepare reports outlining plant maintenance and capital, safety and quality.
Provide support to other company sites on capital and maintenance projects.
Performs managerial duties related to personnel decisions including, but not limited to; writing and conducting performance evaluations, developing and mentoring employees, hiring, disciplinary and termination decisions, and work assignments.
