Process Control Engineer (AV 3-5-1)

• BSCHE/EE/OTHER ENGINEERING with 3-10 years refinery (or Petrochem) plant experience.
• Provide process control application's support for refinery units.
• Duties include organizing, developing and implementing control systems, process control applications and optimization techniques.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting these same topics are a major focus.
• Candidate should have a sound knowledge base in at least two of the following areas:

• Process Control Theory and Practical Applications of Controls
• Computer Systems used in Process Controls
• Fuel refining and/or Aromatics process unit knowledge is desired.
• The ability to install and maintain vendor supplied multivariable control programs (eg Aspen Tech's DMC or Honeywell Hi Spec's RMPCT) as well as real time optimization techniques (eg Apsentech's DMO) is a plus.
• Computer Control System knowledge of Compaq's Vax and Honeywell's TDC3000 is preferred.
• Being able to utilize and/or install Honeywell's Total Plant System (TPS) components is another plus.
