Description:
As a Team member your primary focus will be production support. Duties will include mold maintenance and repair, in and out of the Press.
Requirements:
* Must be proficient in reading and understanding tooling Blue Prints.
* Ability to problem solve molding, part & tooling issues, recommend and implement tooling modifications as corrective action.
* Must know how to use the appropriate precise measuring tools.
* Proficient in the use of all machining equipment (mills, lathes, surface grinders).
* Proficient in the use of one of the following: Hardinge CNC lathe, Fadal CNC mill, Unigraphics CAM/ Master CAM programming. Agie 3 axis sinking EDM.
* Minimum 5 years experience.
Major Accountabilities:
* Maintain and improve existing production molds
* Modify prototype injection molds
* Repair molds
* Perform preventative maintenance to molds
* Maintain shop records
* Control shop inventory
* Build new multi-cavity production molds
* Build rapid prototype single cavity mold
