Anti Tamper Engineer
Job Location: Patuxent River, MD / Patuxent River Naval Air Station

Description:
Description Soliciting applicants for the prospective position of Anti Tamper Engineer. Applicant will perform systems security engineering activities in support of a major NAVAIR program office in the areas of Program Protection Planning, Anti-Tamper (AT) and Information Assurance (IA). Will identify Critical Program Information (CPI), perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure that system security engineering requirements incorporated into SOW's, specs, and verification and validation plans for ECP's and ACAT programs. Will coordinate efforts of program offices, prime contractors, government/industry experts, and Department of the Navy Technical Authorities in determining and implementing SSE requirements for domestic and international programs.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field required from a Department of Education accredited institution and ten years of general experience. With a Master's of Science Degree, eight years of general experience is acceptable. With a PhD in a related field, six years of general experience is required.
Required Skills:
Systems Engineering experience in weapon systems programs; ability to work with minimal oversight and interact well with others; demonstrated background knowledge, problem-solving skills and initiative; experience in DoD acquisitions processes. Ability to handle multiple projects, resolve different priorities and move ahead. Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Desired Skills:
Prior military experience, experience in NAVAIR programs, DoD Program Protection Plans/Anti-Tamper / Information Assurance processes.
Location:
Position will be based out of Patuxent River Naval Air Station, PAX River, Maryland, USA
Travel Required:
Occasional CONUS or overseas travel
